Drawing Submission Checklist

Essential design considerations and manufacturing specifications to help you create accurate, production-ready enclosure designs.

To ensure accurate manufacturing and avoid delays, please make sure your drawing includes the information listed below before submission.

1. Full Dimensions

Provide complete measurements for the enclosure, including:

Overall height, width, and depth
Dimensions of all external panels
Dimensions of all internal compartments or partitions
Door sizes
Clearances between internal components
Location and size of folds, bends, and flanges

2. Opening Details

Clearly show all openings in the enclosure, including:

Door openings
Access panels
Ventilation cut-outs
Fan openings
Cable entry cut-outs
Any other machined or laser-cut apertures

For each opening, include:

Exact position from reference edges
Width and height / diameter
Corner radii if applicable

3. Mounting Features

Include all details related to how the enclosure is mounted or installed:

Wall mounting holes
Floor mounting holes
External mounting brackets
Internal mounting plate positions
Studs, PEM nuts, or threaded inserts
Rail or DIN rail locations

Provide:

Hole diameter
Spacing between holes
Distance from reference ed

4. Hardware Positions

Identify the location of all hardware components, including:

Handles
Locks / latches
Hinges
Cable glands
Gasket channels
Earth studs / grounding point
Door stays or support arms

Please show:

Exact mounting positions
Hole sizes
Hardware orientation

5. Assembly Information

If the enclosure contains multiple parts, include:

Exploded view or assembly drawing
Weld locations
Fastener types
Removable panels

6. Drawing Standards

To avoid manufacturing errors, drawings should also include:

Units of measurement (mm)
Scale if applicable
Revision number
Customer reference or project name
