Typically customers choose 304 stainless steel because it is cheaper and adequate for 90% of our customer applications such as general-purpose indoor, food-grade, or normally dry outdoor applications

Choose 316 stainless steel for marine, coastal, chemical, or high-chloride environments due to its superior corrosion resistance. 316 contains molybdenum, providing better durability in harsh conditions.
